If you are already deep into the Apple ecosystem, this one might be a better, more affordable option. The Apple Watch SE 3 is not the most advanced out there, and that is actually its biggest strength.

Even though it is an SE Watch, you still get accurate fitness tracking, reliable heart rate monitoring, and excellent workout detection like all the other Apple Watches.

With Apple Watch SE 3, one of the most contributing factors to my fitness journey was Apple’s Activity Rings, which were very addictive and made me stay consistent. I have found that the SE works best for people who want fitness tracking without giving up smartwatch features.

You can track workouts, answer calls, reply to messages, and still keep an eye on fitness goals.

However, it does not have advanced health features like ECG or blood oxygen.

All in all, if your goal is to stay active while answering calls on your watch, the Apple Watch SE is the right fit for you.

Amazfit Band 7

Amazfit Band 7 is hands down the best value for money fitness tracker on my list. This is one of those trackers that punches well above its price.

You get a large AMOLED display, built-in SpO₂ monitoring, heart rate tracking, sleep analysis, and support for a wide range of workout modes. And yes, it even tracks stress.

What impressed me most during my testing was its battery life. With moderate use, it can last close to two weeks. That is something you really start appreciating once you are too busy to put it on charge. Also, the Amazfit app is beginner-friendly, and syncing is reliable. It may not be as polished as Fitbit or Apple, but it gets the job done.

If you want a capable fitness tracker that keeps things simple and affordable, the Amazfit Band 7 is an easy recommendation.

Garmin vivoactive 6

This one is for those who want to take fitness a bit more seriously.

I have included the Garmin vivoactive 6 on my list because it is an interesting option. It is fitness-first, but not overly complex.

You get detailed activity tracking, GPS, heart rate monitoring, sleep insights, and Garmin’s excellent Body Battery feature. What is Body Battery? It basically calculates the energy level of your body like a phone estimates its battery level.

At the time I used it, I loved how Garmin focused on long-term trends rather than daily pressure. It helps you understand when to push harder and when to slow down.

As for the durability, the bezel feels strong, and it can take wear and tear. One of the best things about Garmin vivoactive 6 is its versatility – it works well for running, cycling, gym workouts, and even casual swims.

However, the battery life isn’t as great as the other trackers on my list, but it is fine, especially considering the GPS support.

Overall, it is a great choice for those who want to go the hard way for their fitness.
