The first time I saw a puppy was when my mother brought Stella home. She was a tiny Cocker Spaniel, sporting a deep auburn coat, she was lively and licked my nose. The unconditional love, responsibility, and silent communications with my fur family member had begun and I was hooked forever.

Over the course of my life, I became a pharmacist, college professor, writer, and business professional, many critters have influenced and taught me life lessons. Bonding with pets and adopting rescues is incredibly powerful. After many years, in their company, it is an unforgettable moment and honor to be present when their time happens and say goodbye.

This is why I created the series, ‘The Adventures of Rosy Posy Papillion.” The first in a true values series is Friendship. I adopted Rosy Posy from PapHaven Rescue, and within the first day, she escaped from the backyard and ventured out into the field.

Curiosity, learning about our world, and making friends with the pasture pets, propelled Rosy Posy from her comfort zone. Self-discovery is the beginning. With new adventures, life lessons, values, and ethics to grow relationships and leadership skills to come.

In the final third of my life it is about the dedication to passing foreword, making a difference, and leaving things a bit better than we found them.

 Warmly and in health,

Dr. Diana Rangaves, PharmD

“I believe that each character is created equally, and they teach children valuable life lessons about the value of friendship. If I were to grade this book, I will give it an A+ for originality and concept.” ~ Michael Reynoso Writer’s Harmony, Book Review of The Adventures of Rosy Posy Papillion
